Beware of exaggerated or down right false product claims!
Many unscrupulous companies are trying to capitalize on the current pandemic and are making false and unsubstantiated claims about various unauthorized and undocumented products. All approved products are required to use the same language regardless of how effective their product is. The specific language and claim approved by the EPA is as follows:
COVID-19 is caused by the SARS-CoV-2 virus. Sol-U-Guard Botanical Disinfectant kills similar viruses and therefore can be used against SARS-CoV-2 virus when used in accordance with the directions for use against rhinovirus and poliovirus on hard, non-porous surfaces (see back label for more details). The coronavirus is part of a broader classification of viruses called enveloped viruses. Sol-U-Guard Botanical has been proven to be 99.9% effective against viruses in this classification.
